Like most of the art I have in my home, Allen’s art found me. Walking by his show, I was immediately drawn to a large format mandala. Even as I enjoy abstract art, this piece radiated contemplation, balance, and purpose; and while I now have read up on the meditative origin of mandalas, Allen’s piece needed no such explanation. The colors attract, the design intrigues, the center…centers.
